If you're a runner in the Tampa Bay area, you're in luck! Both Tampa and St. Petersburg offer incredible running locations that cater to every type of runner, whether looking for scenic waterfront views, shaded trails, or urban routes. Here are some of the best places to run in these two cities.

Bayshore Boulevard

Bayshore is the most popular place to run on this list! It is known as one of the longest continuous sidewalks in the United States. Bayshore is located near Camden Preserve and is a popular destination for races like the Gasparilla Run and Tampa's Turkey Trot.

Enjoy a beautiful run starting with spectacular views of downtown Tampa and running into the heart of downtown on the Riverwalk! Run along the water, and you may see a dolphin on this trail!

St. Petersburg Pier

Run along the beach, where you'll see other activities such as sand volleyball, circuit fitness stations, and plenty of dogs running by your side. Running along the sidewalk of the St. Pete Pier is an excellent destination with a view of the Bay, and you can feel the ocean breeze while making your strides.

The annual St. Pete Run Fest is held at the Pier, where you can run a 5k, 10k, and a half marathon along the Bay. This popular running spot is located near Camden Pier District, and Camden Central is a fantastic place to experience the vibrant energy of St. Pete.
