The Canopy Social Christmas Pop Up takes a favorite Atlanta spot, Monday Night Brewing, and turns it into a Christmas wonderland for one night only, December 3rd. This is an exclusive event with tickets in high demand and limited quantities. It sold out before Thanksgiving last year so get moving if you want to attend the party of the holiday season!
The Light Up Dunwoody Festival is one of the only free events on this list. The city gathers to light historic venues, chat with Santa and enjoy time together as a community. The event ends with a tree and menorah lighting at 5:45 p.m. This event is the perfect afternoon for a family to have a memorable time and still be home for dinner and bedtime.
The Lighting of the Avalon and Avalon on Ice is the must-attend event of the season for OTP Camden residents. From November 24th – January 26th, ice skate, shop, eat and enjoy The Avalon. The Avalon’s staff offers private and group ice skating lessons if you're feeling extra competitive.
Santa’s Fantastical is an Instagram influencer’s dream. The team behind Santa’s Fantastical has taken a standard department store and turned it into a winter wonderland. Their set up includes photo stations, lights, high tech interactive games and exhibits, live-action characters like Santa Claus and Olaf from Frozen and so much more. Enjoy the thrills of the holidays without the chills while walking around this indoor Christmas paradise.
Ponce City Market Skate in the Sky: Grinch and Gifts offers the most unexpected thing on this list: ice skating with The Grinch! Bring an unwrapped toy to donate and gain free admission to Ponce City Market’s rooftop ice skating rink. Once you’re tuckered out from skating, snap a picture with The Grinch (an actor so realistic you’ll think you’re posing with Jim Carrey). You could make a day of it with the shops, arts and food that will be below the rooftop rink at Ponce City Market.
The Children’s Christmas Parade is a special event benefiting Children’s Hospitals of Atlanta. It’s the largest Christmas parade in the southeast. It's sure to delight viewers with floats and balloons that rival the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Shops at Buckhead Holiday Block Parties is an ideal way to spice up your standard shopping. Visit the shops for gift guides, free wrapping stations, live musical performances, a pet portrait station and even more activities for the whole family. When you’re starting to drop from all the shop(s), treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of The Shop’s amazing restaurants.
Peachtree City Hometown Holidays takes place on Sunday, December 7th. It's guaranteed fun for you and your family no matter their ages. Join in on countless good times including cookie decorating, smores making, live musical performances, a visit from Santa on his sleigh, and shopping the holiday village.
Quiet Shopping Hour is a special event at Phipps Plaza. It is an hour of sensory-sensitive shopping for autistic patrons and parents with autistic children. They are able to shop without the sights, sounds, and crowds that would be at the mall. While this may not be the craziest party of the holiday season, it’s a beautiful event that will mean so much to the community. Enjoy quiet shopping on December 1st. If you are hoping for a rowdy or more festive day, look at #8 and #2 for events that are as close by.
The Kennesaw Parks and Recreation Department presents to you the Kennesaw Holiday Market. If you want to give thoughtful homemade gifts this holiday season, visit the market and shop the countless handmade crafts, jewelry pieces, beauty items, and so much more. Support local small businesses and give one of a kind handcrafted gifts to your loved ones.

Callanwolde is on the SAME STREET as Camden St. Clair, how can you not attend?
The 2019 Stockbridge Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting is a Henry County Tradition that you’ll want to come back to year after year. Some of the best features are photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, LIVE reindeer, live entertainment and rides on the holiday train. Stick around until the end to see Crystalline the Snow Princess light the Christmas tree.
The Lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are a holiday tradition that I never miss. From November 16th – January 11th, enjoy the splendor of holiday lights on a massive scale. Enjoy one of their warm drinks and walk hand and hand with your honey while you take it all in.
