Join us in planting trees!

Camden is proud to announce its partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization dedicated to global reforestation.

In honor of Earth Day 2024, which falls on April 22nd, Camden will plant a tree for every new lease and renewal signed or starting in April, through One Tree Planted.

Why trees, you ask?

Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide a habitat to over 80% of the world's animals, plants, and other wildlife. Forests also provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.

Planting trees is part of Camden’s commitment to environmental sustainability and improving the communities where we live and work. Camden aims to exceed its 2023 achievement of planting over 7,500 trees to support green spaces in urban areas and the restoration of forests across North America.

By planting trees, Camden and our residents can contribute to the planet by providing cleaner air, wildlife habitats, and climate resilience.

How do I participate?

By choosing to call Camden home and signing or renewing your lease in April, we will plant a tree in your honor through our partner, One Tree Planted.

We also have a fundraising page for our One Tree Planted initiative, where you can support us in our efforts. More information here. Let’s plant trees together!

Where will my tree be planted?

One Tree Planted has planted trees in over a dozen US states, six Canadian provinces, and Mexico. Their projects include restoring forests in the wake of significant wildfires, repairing damage caused by industry and resource extraction, and supporting endangered areas. More information here.
