Summer is one of the best times of the year to enjoy fresh, seasonal produce. With so many fruits and vegetables at their peak, it’s the perfect opportunity to add more color and flavor to your meals. Whether you’re stopping by your local grocery store or exploring a nearby farmers' market, these are a few of my favorite summer finds.

Watermelon

Sweet, juicy, and incredibly refreshing, watermelon is a must-have during the summer months. Keep it chilled for an easy snack, add it to a fruit salad, or enjoy it poolside on a warm afternoon.

Peaches

Nothing says summer quite like a ripe peach. They’re delicious on their own, sliced into yogurt, blended into smoothies, or even grilled for a simple dessert.

Berries

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries are all in season and packed with flavor. They’re perfect for breakfast, snacking, or adding a pop of color to your favorite recipes.

Sweet Corn

Fresh corn on the cob is a summertime classic. Grill it for your next barbecue, toss the kernels into a salad, or enjoy it with a little butter and your favorite seasonings.

Tomatoes

Summer tomatoes are hard to beat. Use them in sandwiches, salads, homemade salsa, or pair them with fresh mozzarella and basil for an easy seasonal dish.

Cucumbers

Light, crisp, and refreshing, cucumbers are a staple in my kitchen this time of year. They’re great in salads, infused water, or paired with hummus for a quick snack.

One of the best parts about shopping for seasonal produce is discovering new ways to enjoy fresh ingredients while supporting local growers whenever possible. Next time you’re planning your weekly grocery trip, consider adding a few of these summer favorites to your cart; you may just find a new favorite.
