Spring is upon us and summer is right around the corner. It's also that time of year when the kids are on break from school and parents get to hear those two little words; "I'm bored". My family holds a few local season passes to area attractions and to be honest, they're a great investment! Here are four of my must-have season passes for Atlanta.

1. Six Flags & White Water

If you grew up here, or around here, you've probably visited these parks a hundred times. But let me say, these are great parks to take thte kids, of all ages, and let them blow off some steam. I personally guarantee a great night's sleep after getting home from one of these parks. My favorite thing about these season passes, is the flexibility. You can purchase them now, make monthly payments and visit the parks year round. Six Flags is open through the winter and fall on select dates. You can even add on parking passes and meal plans to your pass. Get the parking pass! That'll save you $20 a visit.

2. Georgia Aquarium

Perfect on a rainy or hot day, the Georgia Aquarium is another must-have. You'll spend hours walking around and taking in the marine life. I see something new every time I visit. I must admit though, the otters will always be my favorite.

  1. Georgia State Parks

The possibilities are endless with this pass. Your pass gains you entry to any Georgia State Park, discounted entry to historical sites, and up to two nights of free camping. With parks all over Georgia, you can pick a new adventure every weekend!

4. Callaway Gardens

Callaway Gardens holds quite a bit of nostalgia for me, as it was our go-to summer hang out when I was a kid. About an hour south of Atlanta, you'll find lush gardens, the Cecil B. Day Butterfly House, and Robin Lake. You can play mini golf, take a bike ride, play in the lake, take a treetop hike, or go zip lining! There's something new to explore with every visit, so you'll never be bored.

Visiting our city for a few days? Buy a CityPASS and get tickets to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN, Zoo Atlanta and more!. At $75 for adults and $59 for children, this is a great pass to take the best spots in the city.

The best part about these Atlanta season passes? All these attractions are short drives from your Atlanta Camden Communities.

Get outside and have some fun this spring and summer! You're never too old to ride a roller coaster; get those hands up!
