Fall is here, and you know what that means…Football! Attending the games can get a little crazy but here are a few tips to help you make sure your game day is awesome!

Prepping

It may be a little cooler outside, but the sun doesn't care. Sunscreen is a must, along with sunglasses and don’t overlook the water! For tailgating you will need to bring a grill, food, tent, games, and music. Most importantly don’t forget to show your pride and wear your school’s colors! 

Tailgating

Arrive at least 5 hours before the game starts to make sure you enjoy all the festivities. Turn up the music and fire up the grill to keep the food going throughout the day. Break out those cornhole boards and challenge your friends. It’s the perfect day to hang out with friends and enjoy the beautiful fall weather…what more could you ask for?

Stadium Etiquette

On average there are about 50,000-100,000 people at a game, so have those tickets out and ready to go at the entrance. The stadium can get crowded so make sure you sit in your assigned section and don’t save seats. If no one else is standing you shouldn’t be either. Be aware of your surroundings-cursing and yelling are not okay. Try not to take forever at the concession stands debating between the $10 hotdog or the $10 chicken fingers. You will end up complaining about paying $10 for it either way. Remember you’re there to have a good time so be courteous and have fun!
