Tumbleweed Tree Lighting Ceremony

The lighting of the iconic Chandler Tumbleweed tree is happening Saturday, December 2 in downtown Chandler Park and the best part is that is it FREE. It is going on from 4:30 pm-9:00 pm! This may be the only place where you can see a tumbleweed Christmas tree light display!

Parade of Lights

The Parade of Lights just happens also to be occurring at the same location as the Tumbleweed Tree Lighting Ceremony and the same location! The parade is from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm. Here, you can see decorated vehicles and floats in Downtown Chandler, with a ton of other festivities taking place!

Chandler Santa Bar Crawl

As I am sure you can figure out, this holiday event is only for those 21 years old and above. This is not your average bar crawl! You will be surrounded by holiday drink specials, Santa costume contests, DJs, and holiday spirit! Taking place in Downtown Chandler on Saturday, December 9, from 4:00 pm- 11:30 pm, the best part is the tickets to participate are FREE!

Pratt Brothers Christmas at Rawhide

Considered to be the biggest Christmas celebration in Arizona, and it is in Chandler, this amazing spectacular consists of a light show with over 6 million lights and everything from a train ride, to live entertainment, holiday shopping, and so much more! Pick the date that works best for you’re friends because they will be open from November 24, 2023- December 24, 2023 on Wednesdays through Sundays from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm.

Local Movie Theater Christmas Movie Showings

During this time of year, you can visit your local movie theater and check out their holiday movie re-runs! Watching you holiday favorites on a big screen with your family can be fun! See everything from Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Polar Express and many more holiday classics- even if you have watched them every year since you were younger. LOOK Dine-In Cinemas in Downtown Chandler does this around the holidays, Harkins Theaters Chandler Crossroads 12 does a Harkins Holiday Series from December 1-30 and so does Harkins Theaters SanTan Village 16 in Gilbert as well!
