1. Use Headphones.
To ensure that all your neighbors are enjoying the pool as much as you are, be sure to wear headphones while playing music. Everyone loves music, and the person sitting next to you may enjoy a different style of music from what you like. Many apartments face the pool, so playing loud music at the pool might disturb your neighbors.
2. Follow the visitor policy
Check with your leasing office for the rules regarding how many visitors are allowed at the pool. Having a party with all your family and friends at your community pool may sound like a great idea, but the apartment pools are designed for all residents to enjoy at their leisure.
3. Follow posted rules.
Every state in the US has different laws regarding lifeguards. Make sure that you are following the posted rules of the pool and the lease. This is to ensure safety and to make sure that all can enjoy the swimming pool.

4. Clean up your space.
If you choose to move chairs around at the pool to accommodate your household, it is polite to move them back. This not only helps the lifeguard focus on the residents at the pool but allows solo neighbors to use pool furniture that is not in a cluster. Please throw away your trash to keep the community looking its best.
5. Stay hygienic and Follow dress code.
At some communities, showers are provided in the bathrooms by the pool. Proper attire is required for the swimming pool. Check with your leasing office if you are unsure.
6. Food and drink etiquette.
Most residents spend a long time at the pool and tend to get hungry and thirsty. Be sure to clean up after you are done enjoying your favorite snacks and beverages. Be on the lookout! We love surprising our residents with popsicles and ice cream at the pool!
