Staying inside doesn’t have to mean no movement, no playtime or no fun. We know you’re feeling cooped up especially with the kids home from school and we’re here to help! With these ideas, you’ll take your Camden apartment and elevate it to the playland of your kid’s dreams!
Picnic in the Living Room
Whenever I hear the word “picnic” I immediately think of a red-checkered blanket on freshly cut grass in the middle of my favorite park. Just because we may be stuck inside it doesn’t mean we can’t recreate that feeling in some fashion.
Camden apartments offer spacious living areas. So move some living room furniture, lay out your best blanket, make some sandwiches, and enjoy a picnic in your living room with your loved ones.
Build a Fort
Some of my favorite memories as a kid were of building forts in my basement with my brother.
We would put together some of the most ridiculous-yet-awesome forts that I can remember with items found all over the house.
Use old plastic crates, cardboard boxes, unused furniture that you’ve refused to throw away, couch pillows, and bedsheets… it’s all potential fort-building materials. Give it a try and be creative.

Play Board Games
Sorry. Aggravation. Trouble. These are not just negative terms I would hear from my parents when I would misbehave…they are all awesome board games that I could play for hours! Whether you’re stuck in the house because of lousy weather, a sick day, or like so many right now, working and schooling from home, take advantage of this time by playing some of the best time-passing games of all time!

Cook with the Entire Family
With TV shows like Chopped, Iron Chef, and Guy’s Grocery Games, anyone can feel like they can cook a full course meal extravaganza! For me, I just hope I don’t burn the toast. However, I do like the challenge of cooking.
Why not get online, find one of your favorite things to eat, and make it from scratch? Spread out and make a fun mess in your spacious Camden kitchen. For me, cooking a fresh, made-from-scratch pizza always hits the spot.

Watch a Movie Marathon
When you’re home and stuck in the house, there is nothing better than curling up on the couch watching a great movie…or saga of movies. With lots of time to kill, why not kick back, and take a cinematic journey to “a galaxy far far away” or to the wizarding world of Hogwarts School? Utilize your Camden technology package and whatever your movie preference, sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonderful world of movies!
