Figuring out what to make for the office potluck this year or your neighbor's Christmas party can be difficult.  Thankfully Simply Camden has you covered with our "Cooking with Camden" series.  I have compiled the top 5 recipes you must try this holiday season.  They are sure to be party favorites!

  • Texas Chili What says winter better than a warm cup of chili?  This Texas chili is all beans and a labor of love that is all worth it in the end!  This seasonal favorite will be sure to warm your heart (and tummy).

  • 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Salsa Verde Chicken This recipe, written by yours truly, is an incredibly simple and delicious go-to for a dinner entree.  My favorite part: the crock pot does all the work!  The hardest part of this recipe is going to buy the recipes, the rest of the work is done for you while you are at work or prepping the house for your family gathering.  I love this recipe because you can pour it over rice, turn it into a yummy street taco for Taco Tuesday, or just eat it by itself!  Not only is it simple, but it also very healthy and yummy!

  • "Chicken-olies", a Family Recipe This unique family recipe was created by Alissa's cousin years ago and is an Italian creation of a combination of ravioli with chicken parmesan.  Is your stomach growling yet?  This dish is best paired with a salad and garlic bread.

  • The Best Chocolate Chip Recipe The best part of any holiday gathering is the desserts, am I right? If you are looking for a go-to dessert to perfect and bring with you to every event then these chocolate chip cookies are it!  Don't just take it from me - Amy, the recipe's author, says they are "melt in your mouth, simple, but oh so unforgettable, chocolate chip cookies that will have everyone begging for more."  Enjoy!

  • Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers Looking for a healthy alternative to a beloved sandwich?  This delicious Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers recipe is an easy, healthy option to try this holiday season!  Minimal ingredients and prep time are required, which if you are a "lazy chef" like I am these are the best kinds of recipes to try.  You can even try substituting ground turkey for beef if you want to eat leaner meat.
