Does your Camden apartment**** have an awkward corner or space that you don't know what to do with? Don’t worry, mine does too, and I’m sure your neighbors do as well. These 5 awkward space solutions will help you dress up that space and utilize it to its full potential.
Pillar? No problem.
Put a tall indoor plant next to the pillar. I placed a potted Dracaena Cane Plant to add height and use up that odd space. Tip: Visit a home improvement department store such as The Home Depot or Lowe’s to purchase your plant to save some money. Landscape nurseries tend to be pretty expensive.

What a small corner!
Is a tight corner stumping you? Hang some lanterns and indoor shrubs to dress it up. Not only is it cool to look at, but you are also bringing some color into the space. By using different heights for each hanging object, you are maximizing the space. All you need are a couple coat hanger plaques and twine to get started.

Fabulousness under the stairs
If you have a loft-style apartment, you may have wondered what to do with that space under the stairs. Turn that empty space into a quick wardrobe and accessory grab and go. All you need are some floating shelves and hooks, then grab and go!

Office nook goodness
Sometimes we come across a unique floor plan with tons of character, but there is that one nook that you just don’t know what to do with. Make it your new home office. IKEA has plenty of desks available that can fit in most small nooks. While you’re at it, add some floating shelves to personalize the space.

5. Space above my kitchen cabinets, oh my!
A lot of apartments have space above the kitchen cabinets. Ever wondered what to do with that space? Storage! We can never have enough storage, right? You can place cookbooks, wine, not so frequently used small kitchen appliances, and bowls/platters inside woven storage containers above the cabinets. Since they are going to be high up, you definitely do not want to put anything in there that you use often. The Container Store and Target have a good selection of storage baskets.
