3 Ways to Stick to Your New Year's Resolutions

New year, new you! As soon as January hits, we all focus on what we want our New Year's resolutions to be and how we plan to achieve it. But there's only one problem - actually sticking to it! I've found that the tips below have been the most helpful in sticking to your plans for a new year and for an even better you.
1. Make it a Habit - Did you know it can take anywhere from 21 days to 254 days to form a new habit? Crazy right? If you're unsure on how to create a habit, try using your phone for help! Setting a reminder for a specific time each day can help you ensure you are sticking to your habit. Whether it's drinking a glass of water each morning or getting that evening run in, your phone can keep you accountable. Not so tech savvy? Try using Post-It notes! Place them where you can see them to keep you liable. When you complete the task for the day, remove the Post-It reminder.

2. Hit the Gym - If you're lucky enough to be a resident of a Camden community, then you know you have access to a 24/7 Fitness Center! That's right - 24 hours, 7 days a week! With a schedule like that, there are no excuses of not being able to get to the gym. Not a resident of a Camden community? Try talking to your local gyms for great New Year's specials. They know everyone is eager to work on their fitness in the new year, so you may be able to negotiate with them for the best deal.

3. Find a Buddy - Sticking to resolutions are much easier when you have someone doing it with you! Grab your significant other, best friend, co-worker, and work on it together! You can keep each other accountable and can even push each other. You can also make it fun and make it a competition! Transformation Challenge 2018 - here we go!

Sticking to your resolutions isn't always easy, but they can be more enjoyable if you do it right! Make things a habit, prepare yourself, and find someone stand by your side along the way.
