Top 10 Best Eateries in Atlanta
Finding the perfect restaurant to dine in the city of Atlanta, home to over hundreds of options can make your appetite disappear. There are numerous spots with delicious breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner options local to your future Camden apartment.
Luckily, I’ve narrowed down the list of options to 10 restaurants I personally enjoy as well as other fellow Atlanta residents.
If you are ever driving through Dunwoody, there are many restaurants located conveniently in Atlanta’s Perimeter. Just a few miles away from Camden Dunwoody and Camden Creekstone, be sure to check out Eclipse Di Luna and Chef Rob’s Caribbean Cafe. Eclipse Di Luna has amazing tapas , live music and salsa dancing. You truly won't have to decide on one specific meal when there are many tapas to order at once! My favorite tapa is the “Fritos Calamares”. Chef Rob’s is also a live spot specializing in authentic Jamaican cuisine. The “Curry Goat” platter is finger licking good and you must order yourself a slice of the delicious Rum Cake for dessert. During the weekend, Chef Rob’s also has an upscale lounge where you can enjoy music and socialize . Be sure to check these spots out after you secure your new home at Camden Dunwoody !
When driving through Downtown Atlanta, make sure you check out and Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint and The Sun Dial Restaurant. Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint gives you a cultured taste of southern music and food. If you are a music lover, you’ll have an entertaining dining experience from their various live performers. Their signature Chicken n’ Waffles and Sweet Iced Tea are my personal favorites. They give you a taste of Atlanta’s most delicious food and beverage options.
The Sun Dial Restaurant and Lounge has a breathtaking view of the city’s skyline. Located 720-feet above, this restaurant give customers a scenic view with amazing food options. The 360 degree view of Atlanta from this hotspot, will surely help the decision making process when relocating easier. You may even spot our high-rise Camden Vantage! The Sun Dial is the perfect upscale date-night venue.
The Midtown area of Atlanta is the place to check out! Just walking distances from Camden Midtown, be sure to stop by Mary Mac’s Tea Room , Negril Village and STK. Mary Mac’s Tea Room is one of the most well-known soul food restaurants in Atlanta. When seeking a home-style meal, I was instructed by many natives to visit Mary Mac’s, especially when you don’t feel like cooking Sunday dinner.
Negril Village is also only blocks away and my favorite restaurant in the city! If you are lover of authentic Caribbean food and fine dining, this high-end restaurant should be your first stop. Amazing jerk chicken, Rum Punch and a live reggae band are just a few small spoilers of your potential dining experience. Not to mention amazing customer service from their diverse staff. Negril Village has you set whether you are dining in for brunch, lunch or dinner.
STK is another great place in Midtown to check out. If you are in the mood for a delicious meal at a casual upscale venue, feel free to throw on cute pair of heels and give STK a try. Known for their juicy steaks, STK also has many other options such the “King Salmon” dish. The complimentary bread is also to die for! Be sure to try various items from STK’s menu, I’m sure you will be pleased. This eatery is also minutes away from Camden Brookwood.
Brookwood is located between Midtown and the neighboring Buckhead area where you will find Camden Buckhead Square and Camden Paces. When looking for the ideal place to eat, you may want to consider a healthier or lighter fare.True Food Kitchen has many healthful and nutrient-rich meals available at a moderate cost. A few menu favorites at this spot include the “Pan Roasted Chicken” meal, and all the filling salads. This restaurant also has a beautiful ambience for an intimate date night and is also very family friendly.
In the historic Fourth Ward neighborhood of Camden Fourth Ward, you will be able get an amazing view of the Ponce City Market. Ponce City Market has a vibrant food hall with different eateries ran by top chefs. No matter what type of meal you are in mood for, you’ll find a tasty option in the food hall. You will also find your favorite treats such as gelato, candy and King of Pops! The Skyline Park is also a fun surprise for visitors of all ages, filled with amusement activities and a scenic view of the city.
Another good restaurant near Fourth Ward is Six Feet Under. Six Feet Under has you covered with great seafood dishes and other dietary options. My favorite dish on the menu is the “Blackened Shrimp n’ Grits”, which may have been the best I’ve tasted in Atlanta. They have very inexpensive options, and the restaurant is located in a convenient area. If you are ever in Fourth Ward, be sure to give them a try!
Finding a place to eat in ATL just got a bit easier! I am sure that if you check these places out, you won't be disappointed. No matter what Camden property you are near, great restaurants will be short ways away. Chow Down
