Ah yes, the great things in my life after my husband, kids, grandkids, dogs and Camden are other people's dogs and kids, then right behind that is Trader Joe's, Sweetwater Organic Farms and The Container Store! We are still waiting for Trader Joe's to come to Tampa, but yippee - The Container Store is here. For months at our office in Tampa, we have counted the weeks, then the days until the store opened. Opening day was on a Saturday and the excitement was electric! Every parking lot nearby was full of shoppers ready to experience this creative store. It is an organized persons dream come true. Even if you are not organized, there is something for you. My boss asked - how many food containers can you buy? What? Poor guy just doesn't know that The Container Store is so much more. The store is filled with containers for everything you can imagine. You can find things to organize your closet, your garage, the office, the laundry room, your sports equipment and yes, anything you might find in the kitchen

One of our recent blogs, "The No So Junky Junk Drawer" talked about all the things you might find in your junk drawer. Well an easy trip to The Container Store and BAM! you can organize the junk drawer and always be able to find what you need! While there are many things that appeal to me at The Container Store, my current favorite is food storage containers (Ed - I'm predictable!). Not just any old air tight left over container, but air tight containers that will keep your dry foods fresh forever (not proven in clinical trials - just my opinion).These little gems have the most amazing lids - once you press the big fat button on top, sealed tight! This, of course, will keep your treats fresh like when you first made them. Just look at these M & M chocolate/pretzels for Easter!
