Do you love spending time outdoors in a beautiful landscape with breathtaking views? Living at Camden Denver West would be a massive plus for you! We are located right on the Eastern flank of the Rocky Mountains, and we are a DREAM to outdoor lovers.
Camden Denver West’s backyard is South Table Mountain, which is a mesa here in Golden, Colorado.
A mesa is a mountain with a flat top that provides a lot of walking space and room to explore. On South Table Mountain, you can look over the edge of one side at stunning views of downtown Denver. On the other side is the historical downtown Golden and the magnificent Rocky Mountains.
South Table Mountain is the perfect beginner’s hike standing at 6332 feet. This simple hike adds to the convenience of a Camden right at the base of it. Many residents go for runs, biking, and take their dogs on daily walks on South Table Mountain.
Living right next to South Table, you have the option to substitute the gym for your daily hike. I have personally gone on quick hikes during my lunch break to unwind with the relaxing wind breathing past my face and the stunning Rocky Mountain and city views.
My favorite trail on South Table is Tertiary Trail. It starts right behind Camden Denver West! Walking up this trail gives you amazing views of downtown Denver and Camden Denver West. Along the trail, you will meet many different people walking their dogs (it seems like EVERYONE in Colorado owns a dog), bikers, and people out for a daily hike.
Are you looking to hit the slopes every weekend or for a more extreme adventure than South Table Mountain, like one of Colorado’s famous fourteeners? Camden Denver West is conveniently located a street down from I-70. Within minutes, you can be driving up the Rocky Mountains to your next adventure.
