The Sky Lounge at Camden North Quarter in Downtown Orlando is perched on the top floor of this trendy and sought-after mid-rise community. Step One: The Booking

• Book the space with your leasing office to check availability and pricing, because when you rent the Sky Lounge, you are using it exclusively for you and your guests. Be aware that the Lounge closes at 10 pm.

Step Two: The Guest List

• Don’t overwhelm the space by inviting more than you need. Holiday parties are meant to be intimate. As large as the sky lounge is, with two large seating areas (one in front of a massive fireplace) as well as a dining table set for ten, you want to make sure that the Lounge has a presence at the party as well.

• Create a cute invite through apps like Canva and send it out to your friends and family. Be sure to communicate parking arrangements.

• Carpooling should be preferred, since Downtown Orlando has minimal parking. Let your guests know they can park in front of the community on Orange Ave (parking is free after 6 pm), but if parking is scarce, Camden North Quarter’s first-floor parking garage offers pay-per-plate parking within the community.

Step Three: The Arrival

• Once your guests are parked and the Concierge has placed the “Closed for Private Event” sign on the Lounge doors, it is time to start your holiday party. Your guests will “ooooooo” and “ahhh” upon arrival, from the view to their eyes dancing at the sheer size and décor of the Sky Lounge. A pool table sits playfully near several floor-to-ceiling windows and underneath 20 + foot ceilings. The Kitchen occupies a large portion of the space, offering plenty of room for catered food or a potluck-style gathering. No need for ice with a built-in ice maker and fridge for your refreshments and cocktails. Need to open up the space? Open the retracting poolside doors and lead your guests to inviting outdoor seating with views of Downtown Orlando.

Step Four: Once it is Over

• All good things come to an end, right? Wrong. Once the lounge closes and all seems said and done, bring your guests over to the sweetest spot in town, your apartment home. Camden North Quarter offers spacious studio, one, and two-bedroom apartment homes right here in Downtown Orlando. The spacious kitchens, with their stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops, make it an ideal place to hang out and enjoy great Thanksgiving food and drinks. Limited apartment homes offer balconies with views of Downtown Orlando and Lake Concord, making an amazing backdrop for your holiday selfies. Don’t want to bring the party home, but not ready for everyone to go yet? Feel free to go downstairs for some additional food and drinks at “Gravity Taproom” or even “Noir”, the newest speakeasy in town, down the street.
