'Tis the holiday season, and that can only mean one thing—it’s time to host a dinner party in your Camden apartment home! Whether it’s with your family, friends, or coworkers, let’s start by setting the table! Here are three simple ways to create the ultimate holiday tablescape in under 30 minutes.

1. Use Your Best Dishes

How many of you are letting your fine china or nice dishes collect dust in a cabinet or in your Camden storage unit? Don’t be afraid to use them. They were made to create a beautiful tablescape in your home. And, if you have holiday dishes, this is their moment to shine!

I have white plates and add color to the table in other ways. Start with a charger, then a dinner plate, and stacked on top of that, a salad plate. If you only have a dinner plate, that works perfectly too! Place the forks to the left of the plate and the knife and spoon to the right.

2. Pick a Color Palette

It is essential to pick a color palette for your tablescape. I love adding different colors through texture. This year, I went with maroon, green, and gold. I laid a maroon table runner down the center of the table and placed faux cedar pine garland on top for texture. I only had four gold napkin rings, so I used gold ornaments for the head of the table seats.

3. Use What You Already Have

There is no need to spend a lot of money to have the perfect holiday tablescape - use what you already have! I added two gold trees to the center to finish this year's look and weaved the garland around them. Then, I added gold candle holders and flameless candle sticks. The candles create an elegant feel without the risk of a flame and dripping wax.
