Discovering Local Favorites

Part of what makes moving to a new city exciting is discovering your new go-to spots. Here are a few neighborhood favorites that quickly earned a spot on my list:

  • Rocket Coffee ATX & Pastries

Known for its signature espresso, and delicious pastries this local Austin staple provides a cozy inclusive space fostering community.

  • Miyo Yakitori & Sushi

Offering a large selection of sushi, sashimi and rolls. And their sushi chefs all have trained in Japan for over +10 years, offering a true taste of Japan.

  • Mama Betty’s Tex-Mex

Started by a Houstonian and single mother, Betty Carrier, who had a passion for family, work, and MEXICAN FOOD!

  • The Domain

Austin’s modern shopping and dining hub, perfect for a weekend outing or evening stroll.

Outdoor Living, Austin Style

One of the best parts about living at Camden Amber Oaks is being surrounded by nature while still staying connected to city life. Nearby Brushy Creek Lake Park offers miles of trails, picnic areas, and lakeside views for walking, jogging, or biking. And when it’s time to cool off, Barton Springs Pool and Lake Travis are just a short drive away.

Back home at Camden Amber Oaks, the two resort-style pools and outdoor grillsmake it easy to enjoy Austin’s sunny weather without going far.

Building a Community

What really makes Camden Amber Oaks special is the sense of community. Whether it’s chatting with neighbors by the pool, working out in one of two fitness centers available, or simply exchanging smiles in passing, it’s easy to feel connected here. The Camden team’s commitment to service and hospitality turns an apartment into a home—and a city into a community.
