Quality Time

Quality time is priceless! Take your dad fishing or take him to the driving range to hit a few golf balls. A few years ago, I took my dad to the Atlanta Spring Wine Festival in the backyard of my amazing Camden Fourth Ward apartment. We had a blast taste-testing wines and exploring our own city. If you live in the Buckhead area, near Camden Paces or Camden Buckhead Square, try what my siblings and I did a few years back and spend the day out with dad at one of Atlanta’s famous breweries like SweetWater. Nothing shows how much you appreciate your dad than good quality time.

A Project

The best thing about Dads is that they truly just want to be involved and help. Invite your dad in on a project you’re working on and see how quickly that menial task becomes a joyful memory. A good example of a project is when my brother was preparing his home for a new baby, he and our dad made a day of putting the baby’s crib together. They both found it to be productive, rewarding, and, most importantly, very fun!

This is a big hit with dads! Every year I make a calendar highlighting all the adventures we had the previous year.
