If you’re asking me… this is my favorite time of the year in Orlando! The streets come to life with lights, jubilant music, and festivities that the whole family can enjoy together. These celebrations go far beyond the theme parks, and most are free to attend! The options are endless, and truthfully, there are more events than time permits for the holiday season. If you are planning to take part in these joyous festivities, keep reading!

Whether you are living in a Camden community or just visiting, you are guaranteed to make some santa-mental memories this upcoming season that you’ll be able to cherish forever!

Fezziweg Festival – Hunter’s Creek Village Park

Address: 13538 Village Park Drive Orlando, FL 32837

For its third year, the Fezziwig Festival returns to the Hunter’s Creek Village Park! This event kicks off on December 2, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and will return the next two Saturdays (December 9 and 16). You will experience live entertainment, food vendors, a tree light show, and a parade! The best part… it’s free!

Less than a mile down the road, our Camden Hunter’s Creek residents are within walking distance of Village Park! There will be several parking areas near Village Park if you choose to drive, but availability will vary depending on the day and time.

Gaylord Palms – ICE! Featuring “A Charlie Brown Christmas”

Address: 6000 W Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746

This is a can’t-miss event and, personally, my favorite holiday festivity because it’s truly a breathtaking experience. Traveling all the way from Harbin, China, a troupe of experts carve these immaculate ice sculptures over six weeks to create this 19,000-square-foot indoor experience. Although a jacket will be provided at the start of the attraction, wear those layers as it’s a whopping 9 degrees inside the exhibit! This event requires tickets and a reservation before going, so be sure to plan ahead as this event tends to sell out quickly.

Just on the same road, two miles down, we have Camden World Gateway! This beautiful community provides two different apartment finishes to accommodate any taste! Orlando’s favorite attractions and theme parks such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, Gaylord Palms Resort, Point Orlando, Universal Studios, and many more are easily accessible with I-417 and I-4 nearby. Schedule a tour today!

Now Snowing – Celebration Town Center

Address: 610 Sycamore St, Celebration, FL 34747

This is as close to snow as we will get here in Orlando, Florida! This quaint town, outside Walt Disney World, is hosting its 25th anniversary for its winter jubilees. “Snow” falls nightly from now until December 31, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., on the hour! Adding to the fun, there will be strolling carolers, photo ops with Santa, ice skating, horse carriage rides, train rides, and more!

Our residents at Camden Town Square are in luck, as this event is conveniently right next door! This event is free, and no two visits are the same! For more information on the event, hours, or parking, visit the Celebration Town Center website!
