It’s no secret that Georgia is known as the peach state, but we have a lot more to offer than just peaches. Did you know that Atlanta is home to the largest aquarium in the country? Georgia also hosts an array of pop culture events, historic attractions and an abundance of natural beauty. The greater Atlanta area can be broken down into two areas known to locals as Inside the Perimeter (ITP) and Outside the Perimeter (OTP). Inside the Perimeter is any area located inside of the Interstate 285 loop which you can see in the map below. Outside the Perimeter would be any area outside of the loop.
