Yeah, going to the movies can be fun but what about those stay at home cinematic experiences we so crave after a long day of work?
Here is a list of some great, less heard of shows that will have you rushing back to your apartment every day!

This show centers around Lenny, formerly known as Pope Pius XIII aka "The Young Pope". Filled with lots of drama, explanations and valuable insights into life inside The Vatican and a soundtrack to die for, this show will have you rushing to your apartment for more after merely one episode!
Victoria, PBS Masterpiece, starring Jenna Coleman

Best known for her role in "Doctor Who", Jenna Coleman returns in impeccable form starring as one of England's most famous and respected monarchs, Queen Victoria. Telling the story of her life, her love and the rocky road oftentimes traveled to become legendary, this show is one that should not be missed.
Timeless, NBC, starring Abigail Spencer, Goran Visnjic

I you ask your friends and family you will probably get mixed reviews, but this is a show that I heartily enjoy. To be honest, there is not much of a point to this show, but the time traveling aspect is reason enough to tune in. Watch 3 main characters chase 1 villain through time. Sounds good enough to me.
Vikings, History Channel, starring Travis Fimmel

Ok, so this is one of my favorite shows. Although season 4 just ended, this one is binge- worthy all day, everyday! Follow the life of infamous Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok, as he loves, hates, pillages, steals, plunders, murders, betrays etc his way through Scandinavia, England and France. This show will have something for everyone and will not hesitate to make you cringe occasionally but I guarantee you a consistently wild ride filled with characters that you will come to love with each episode.
Peaky Blinders, BBC Two/Netflix, starring Cillian Murphy

Another TV great, learn more about the Shelby brothers and their post WWI established criminal enterprise, The Peak Blinders. A very entertaining, sometimes dark drama that never hesitates to "go there". My husband and I binged this show in one week, including work days. THAT is how addictive this show is.
There is a little bit of everything for everyone in this list. Stay in your apartment and try them out. I promise: you will not be disappointed. Feel free to leave your feedback in the comments! I would love to know your thoughts!
