Camden is committed to providing a healthy environment for our customers and team members. Under the guidance of the CDC, local government, and health officials, we've instituted an extensive, multi-point health and sanitization program. The below items provide a high-level overview of our approach to help prevent the spread of illness.
Disinfecting Amenity Spaces and other High-Traffic Zones
Amenity spaces and high-touch areas are disinfected daily, including common area restrooms, elevators, and mailboxes, fitness centers and swimming pools. All work will be coordinated to minimize disruption of the use of these facilities for residents.
These areas receive the same cleaning protocols in between tours as the amenities and other high-traffic areas.
Clubhouse tables and furniture, and other public gathering areas, are arranged to ensure appropriate distancing. Physical distancing is encouraged throughout the community with clearly marked signage. The capacity of each high-traffic zone is reduced per local regulations.
Personal protective equipment is mandatory for Camden team members when interacting with customers, including face-coverings. Residents, future residents, and guests are also required to wear face-coverings in the office, and Camden will provide face-coverings if needed. We are also limiting office traffic levels to support social distancing.
Team members are required to check their temperatures before arriving at work.
Camden is reinforcing personal hygiene, proper handwashing, and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Team members will complete a certified workplace disinfection, sanitation, and safety training program.
Virtual Customer Service Options
Camden has only strengthened our commitment to providing Living Excellence to our customers from prospective renters to our valued residents.
For our Prospective Residents, we offer a variety of shopping and tour options. Through a Live Video Tour, Camden Team Members can take customers on a tour through their smartphone from the convenience of their current location. We also offer a Self-Guided Tour option, where customers can tour the community at their own pace. If a customer would prefer a guided Team Member Tour, face-coverings are required for anyone over the age of two. Sanitizer and gloves are also provided and encouraged.
For our new Residents, we are offering a contactless Move-In Experience. Keys to apartment homes will be held in a sanitized lockbox. Once collected, the resident can navigate to their new home, where we will hold a live video call to welcome and guide them through the important and helpful documents conveniently placed in their apartment.
For our current Residents, we are offering live video service requests to help customers maintain their living experience while maintaining social distancing. We are happy to enter their apartment home to complete requests as well. We will do so wearing personal protective equipment and maintaining social distancing.
