Located just 3 miles from Camden Plantation is the sixth largest mall in the United States, and the second largest in Florida called Sawgrass Mills mall.  With 2,383,906 square feet of retail selling space and over 300 retail outlets; it is a bargain hunter’s dream! I once heard that it was constructed in the shape of an Alligator?  If it was, the expansions over the years have given it a pot belly and a double chin. But really no matter what the shape, there is no denyng that it is HUGE!

](http://camdenplantation.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/sawgrass-mills-mall4.jpg) Courtesy of yelp.com You can tell the rookies from the pro shoppers.  Rookies are in heels, carrying a cute purse and can’t remember what entrance they entered from and thus, cannot find their car at the end of the day.  (Yes, you can spend a whole day, maybe two in order to see every store) The pros are, on the other hand,  in comfy clothes, sneakers and pulling their suitcase on wheels in order to be hands free to scower the racks for great deals. They have pinned their location on the iPhone app called “Walk Me” to their car. No need to write anything down….they really don’t mess around!  I’ve been going to this mall for years and it never gets old. From the named brand stores such as Coach, Burberry, Tommy Bahama, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Movado to Super Target, JCPenny and Marshalls; the deals are everywhere. Back to school shopping is in full swing and people are taking advantage of the “Tax Free” days from August 2nd through the 5th to save some extra money.

Throughout the mall there are large, comfy massage chairs for those who need a break from all the walking, plus two big Food Courts to grab a quick snack!
