In Arizona, rainy days are rare, and our "rainy monsoon season" has been mild this year. This Labor Day weekend however, rain is in the forecast for the entire weekend in the Valley, starting off with an amazing thunderstorm and heavy rains last night. If you live in a Camden Community - we encourage you to notify your Welcome Center immediately if you encounter any type of leaks (day or night, we are here for you 24/7). This is especially important if you have a roof leak from the rain. Some tips if you do have a roof leak - place a pan/bucket/bowl under the leak to prevent the leak from damaging your flooring. Remove your personal belongings from the immediate area to prevent damage. If your personal items are damaged due to the leak, file a report with your renters insurance company immediately. These tips can aid in minimizing your frustrations. In the desert, it can take several days for the roofing companies to get to us. We have so little rainfall, that we all find out at the same time if we have a leak, and the roofing companies get quite busy. The interior repairs that our maintenance teams complete cannot be completed until the roof repairs are complete. The entire process can take a week or two, depending on the severity of the leak.
