That. Shirt. That shirt says so much. That shirt is worn by members of Camden Maintenance. It is worn by hard-working individuals that get their hands dirty on a daily basis and do it all with a smile on their faces. That shirt is what Ric Campo, our Chairman of the Board, CEO and one of our founding fathers wears to each one of our Ace Awards. It is a shirt he wears with pride, showing just how much he appreciates and respects every single one of his employees. That. Shirt.

Son, Kevin, Chris and Tim - Camden Lake Pine's Maintenance Team If you were to take a survey and ask people why they choose apartment living over purchasing a home, among a list of answers, one of the more common reasons would most likely be because maintenance and upkeep are taken care of for you. You have a light bulb out? You call the office. You have a running toilet? You call the office. You have no AC or heat? You call the office. And do you know who the office calls to respond? Maintenance.  Without them, we'd simply not make it. They are an intricate and ever so necessary part of each and every day and make everything run like a well-oiled machine. They are the peanut butter to our jelly. The mix to our tape. The hammer to our nail. That is why the Raleigh district sets aside the entire month of November to show our maintenance teams just how much we appreciate them. The first week is a hot breakfast served by the office staff, the second week is an outing and day off from work (this year it is Dave and Busters - so jealous), the third week is a Thanksgiving lunch prepared by the office staff and the final week, goodies are dropped off to each maintenance team member by the District Office. Whether it is a day, a week or a month you set aside to shower them with love, make sure you let them know Monday through Sunday on repeat, just how much you appreciate them.
