The holiday season has arrived! Do you have everything you need to host your family at your Camden apartment? Throughout most of the year, you may only need one or two beds for those in your immediate household. But when the holidays come and every cousin, college friend, and in-law want to visit your gorgeous Camden home, you might have to make some adjustments. Don’t put in a queen bed in your living room just yet – we have some ideas for you!

1. Futons

Before you say it, no I do not mean the crusty futon from your college dorm. We are past that, people! You’ve grown up, and so have futons. Wayfair, Home Depot, Ashley Furniture, and Overstock all have options that look a lot more like a stylish sofa than the back ache inducing futons of our youth. Give one of these a try in your Camden apartment in a second bedroom, a den, study, or a spacious living room!

2. Trundle Beds/Day Beds

Even before the college futon, there were sleepover party trundle beds. The dream sleeping arrangement for any besties who wanted to chat and giggle all night without sleeping on the floor can still be an ideal set up for your holiday guests! Most of the year, these comfy beds can serve as a couch or twin sized bed in a smaller space. But come holiday season, you can unfold them into two twins, a queen, or even a king-sized bed! There are so many options to work with whatever Camden floor plan you’re working with.  This velvet stunner from JC Penny would easily blend into your everyday style and keep your guests comfortable overnight.

3. Fold out couches

A fold out couch, pull-out couch or sleep sofa is an IDEAL solution to this problem. You likely need a couch any way to round out your Camden living space, why not make it multifunctional? Go high end with this gorgeous piece from Article or keep it budget friendly with this clean and simple look from Pottery Barn.

4. Air mattresses

Don’t panic! Your grandma will not wake up on a deflated piece of plastic. Much like the futon, air mattresses are really upping their game as of late. Air mattresses are the first on this list that are easily stored out of sight as well. Deflate it on December 26th and put it away in your large walk-in closets, or your conveniently located Camden storage unit.  This queen sized product was rated the best air mattress of 2021 by Good Housekeeping.

5. Cots

Not just for camping, a cot is another easily stored and compact solution to your guest’s sleep situation. Simply roll it out after dinner and allow them to comfortably snuggle up in any space. Cots have the benefit of being thin making them easy to set up anywhere and store anywhere.  This classic cot from Walmart has over 1500 reviews!
