Put your bed on a different wall. Trade out your living room end tables for your bedroom nightstands. Put plants in the dining room instead of entryway; green stimulates the appetite. Do you collect something? Guitars, records, maps? Put a few pieces on the wall instead of in a display case. Making just one change can make a huge difference! 1. Change your scent. We all have scents that we strongly prefer, and we tend to gravitate towards those for our homes. With time, you'll cease to smell the brown sugar vanilla that you so loved; so change it up. Choose something radically different from what you normally would for long-lasting olfactory joy. If you lean towards warmer scents (vanilla, caramel, nutmeg, etc), go for a floral or berry scent, and vice versa. The nose knows!
