You might be thinking, "What is a contact center? What can they do? Isn’t it just an answering service? Why can’t I talk to the office? Do these people at the Contact Center work for Camden? How do I reach the contact center outside of office hours?" Well, we are going to answer all these questions for you!
What is the Contact Center?
The Camden Contact Center is our central leasing office in Houston, where calls are transferred in case the onsite teams cannot answer. We understand that sometimes you wish to speak to the office directly, but our central leasing office personnel have vast knowledge to assist in answering your concerns or questions.
Many of the personnel who work at our central leasing office used to be employees who worked onsite at a Camden community and wanted to expand their knowledge and learn how Camden assists behind the scenes. We are different from an answering service; we are Camden employees eager to assist you and ensure we want to help you to the best of our ability.
What can Camden's Contact Center assist with?

Our team is trained to assist in all types of scenarios, including:
Maintenance Requests/Emergencies—The contact center has maintenance knowledge, and they can help troubleshoot to see if we can assist with your concerns to get things working correctly, including A/C units, door locks, or even clogged toilets. We can place service requests for you, and if it is an emergency, we have your back and can dispatch our maintenance staff at all hours of the day or night.
Financial – Our team can answer questions about leasing an apartment, resident ledgers, or even final account statements.
Transferring—We can provide information on what is needed to transfer apartment homes on-site or from Camden-to-Camden communities.
Resident Information—If you need to update your renter's insurance, phone number, or email, the contact center can help!
Future Resident Inquires – At the contact center, they have a vast knowledge of all our communities and can provide the most up-to-date information to ensure we find the perfect home for you. We can schedule tours, send quotes, or even let you know the schools in the area!
