What happens after the feasting is over and you’ve come home with an unexpected amount of baked goods and holiday meats?
Make a bowl of fruit salad: All you need is something sweet, something salty, a bit of crisp and refreshing all tossed together. One of our bloggers posted a delicious grape salad recipe that blends leftover cream cheese, fruit, pecans and brown sugar to create something filling. Why not bring a bowl to work to snack on during breaks?

Make a breakfast sandwich: Stack some leftover holiday meat slices along with scrambled eggs, cheese and arugula (my leafy green of choice) between two waffles and you’ve got yourself a quick breakfast-to-go.

Make a bowl of chili: Nothing warms the heart on a cold winter’s day than a hot bowl of chili. Just chop up some leftover holiday ham or shred the turkey meat and add it to a simmering pot of canned chili. If you prefer to make your own, try out this Texas Chili recipe.
