Singles Celebrating Valentine's Day in D.C.

For all the single folks on Valentine’s Day looking for something you can do where you won’t be surrounded by couples can be a struggle. I have a few events picked out for those who are in the D.C. area and looking for some fun entertainment.
- Get Over it! – This comedic dinner is for those where love has left them slightly scorned. You are encouraged to throw on an old piece of clothing you might be holding onto from that ex in exchange for a shot of house-made cinnamon whiskey. What a way to start the night!
At the end of the night all clothing will be donated to S.O.M.E. (So Others May Eat). Don’t worry they have you covered throughout the night with drink specials, $1 oysters, and $7 Boh and O combos.
- Worst Date Ever: A Valentine’s Date story Contest – (Early show is SOLD OUT) If you are looking for a laugh where you can bring your own food and hear about others failed dates this is perfect! Due to high demand they created a second showing starting at 10 pm located in NW D.C. There are a number of scheduled performers but if you have a story to share you can submit it to see if you can land a spot on stage. The event is for 21 years or older and they will be offering alcohol at the event.
- QLIKD: Not Another Boring Valentine’s Day – This event is for the classy, sophisticated, whisky loving people out there. The event is being held at Jack Rose Dining Saloon with several praised bartenders. Tickets range from $0 - $25 with the options of RSVP, VIP RSVP, and Premium RSVP. All tickets will get you through the door and a complimentary ride to and from the event via Rideshare. If you select Premium VIP this will get you access to the private back bar with a seat next to the fire.
