Denver Colorado is an incredible place! Camden has nine luxurious apartment communities throughout the city for the lucky individuals that get to call Denver home. For the rest of us we’ll have to get by on just visiting.
After visiting, I found 4 reasons why you should brave the cold and vacation in the Denver area during winter:
Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanic Gardens
For over three decades the Denver Botanic Gardens transforms annually into a twinkling winter wonderland. Open from November 23, 2018 through January 1, 2019, visitors only pay $16 to see the spectacular interactive light display.
Frisco Adventure Park
About an hour and a half away from the city you can enjoy Frisco Adventure Park’s main attractions including tubing, skiing, and sleigh rides. However, for only $15 per person you can experience Frisco’s Tumble Bubbles. These 9 feet tall human hamster balls allow you to tumble, bounce, and roll through the snow at the base of the tubing hill.
Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort
Located just two hours outside Denver, the hot spring waters at Mount Princeton Hot Springs are 100% natural and bubble out of the ground at 120 degrees at the source. Purchase a day pass for only $25 and spend the day soaking with surrounding mountain views. Looking for even more relaxation? Check out their spa with saunas, steam rooms, and a juice bar.
If remaining local is more your thing be sure to check out the Skyline Park’s Skating Rink. Enjoy the incredible surrounding views of skyscrapers right in the heart of downtown with $2 skate rentals. For all the sports fans out there, dawn your burgundy and blue and catch a hockey game at the Pepsi Center.
Denver comes alive in the winter with a ton of local activities so there is something truly for everyone. Don’t miss out on this truly breathtaking city and plan your next visit today!
