How to Enjoy the Local Community Garden in Knox/Henderson

Did you know when sitting down to eat your favorite meal at Parigi, some of the ingredients could have been grown right in your backyard? It’s true! The Promise of Peace Community Garden, also known as POP, has a site right in the heart of the Knox/Henderson area. Some familiar restaurants in Dallas use products from the garden everyday! The Agape garden is right across the street from Camden Belmont, giving our residents a neat place to plant their own favorites outside of their apartment home!
Interested in planting? There are currently 2 plots open and they are only $150 a year! Interested in what’s growing? Come see what the Promise of Peace Community Garden has to offer at the new POP Farmers Market on Lower Greenville!
The POP garden is a great addition to the community and contributes in so many ways.
Surrounding businesses and residents have an opportunity to enjoy nurturing their own plants and watching them grow.
The greenery of the garden is a scenic view for all residents and passersby, giving a home feel to an urban area.
