Camden San Diego Rocks, Rolls, and Runs to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
On Sunday June 3rd, twelve Camden employees from San Diego ran the infamous San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. With three half marathon runners, four relay teams, and one full marathon runner; Camden represented Southern Californians in full effect. Mile after mile, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon offers constant entertainment with live bands along the way and many interesting teams such as the all Elvis team in full costume including wigs and a karaoke machine! You couldn’t miss our Camden team in bright green shirts and Camden hats with big smiles to match. Everyone had a blast though there were many stiff and sore employees limping around work on Monday morning. Everyone vows to up their game (and distance) next year and I personally am determined to beat fellow manager Tom Bevers from Camden Sierra at Otay Ranch who beat my time this year by one measly minute (though I suspect foul-play). All in all we had a lot of fun supporting a great cause which epitomizes Camden’s culture! We’ll see you all there next year!
