This year’s conference speakers will include A$AP Rocky (recording artist) , Stacey Abrams (Author), and Keith Anderson (CMO of Penny Inc.) , just to name a few. The spring exhibition will show Words/Matter: Latin American Art and Language at the Blanton. The Blanton Museum has free admission every third Thursday of the month, so be sure to check out their website for any featured programs on the day you plan to visit.
Lake Travis Zipline Adventures
If you are feeling adventurous, I have just the place for you. Lake Travis is one of the most scenic places in Austin and it’s even more beautiful when you are gliding above the trees. I did ziplining and I had so much fun! The staff there is kind and fun-loving. This is definitely a great place to spend a spring day.
Friday Night Moonlight Cruise
If you are looking for evening entertainment, take the Lone Star Friday Night Moonlight Cruise. The hour-long cruise takes place on Lady Bird Lake and gives you an amazing view of the Austin skyline. Did I forget to mention that its BYOB?

It wouldn’t be right of me to not mention a place with great food. The Picnic is a food truck park with several delicious options. There’s a wide range of cuisines such as BBQ, Thai food, Venezuelan, and even some eats for your sweet tooth.
