Camden Create Your Space

Camden has employed an innovative new technology that will make the design of your living space much easier. Camden Create Your Space is an internet-based application that allows you to drag and drop virtual furniture into one of the floorplans provided for you. The floorplans available are just a small sampling of the many that you have to choose from at Camden, and it will help you get a better idea of exactly how you will want to arrange furniture in your new home. The Camden Create Your Space requires the Macromedia Flash version 5 browser plug-in, so if you need to download Flash or just have other questions for us, please see below.

Camden Create Your Space Instructions

• Choose a floor plan
Your selection in a floorplan might be based on any number of lifestyle factors. Browse through the choices we've made available and see what works for you. You'll find one, two and three bedroom floorplans as well as some of our more uniquely designed plans.
• Moving Furniture
Everything has been built out into a drag and drop format. Starting with the furniture, you'll want to click and hold on the piece you want to position first, then drag it onto the floorplan on the right and drop it into the location of your choice.
• Rotating Furniture
Once you have the piece where you want it, you might still need to rotate it to a particular angle. You can do this by clicking the circular [O] button found where you originally selected the piece. This will rotate the piece clockwise until you stop clicking. All of the furniture can be rotated an infinite number of times.
• Taking it with you
We encourage you to try a few different layouts. Remembering what they all look like can be difficult, so feel free to print out a copy of your proposed apartment design by simply clicking on the "PRINT" button to the right.
