Camden offers degree, training, mentor, and continuing education programs under the umbrella of our in-house Camden University. Employees who complete a Camden University degree program receive a 3.5% pay increase. Camden University's degree programs are internal certifications that are aligned with each of our on-site positions. Courses are presented in a variety of formats to accommodate different learning styles, including instructor-led courses, independent eLearning courses, and one-on-one, collaborative learning experiences. The degree courses teach job-specific skills, from hands-on maintenance to leadership and communication skills.
Our training programs center on competencies necessary for supervisors and multi-site managers, and the continuing education program supports the training and career development of employees who have already obtained a Camden University degree. Through these programs, employees can continue to grow and develop at all stages of their professional development with Camden.
Camden's Mentor Program
Camden's industry-leading Mentor Program provides one-on-one training to new on-site employees during the first ninety days of employment. Peers in the same position provide hands-on training to new employees and help new employees learn about Camden's culture. Camden mentors are ambassadors of our culture. The Mentor Program provides growth and development opportunities not just for the new employee, but also for the tenured employee who is selected as a mentor. Camden mentors undergo an application process and complete a tailored training program conducted at our corporate headquarters.
